SINGLETON COUNCIL CORRESPONDENCE TO General Manager PO Box 314 Singleton NSW 2330 PUBLIC EXHIBITION DRAFT CROWN LANDS AT BROKE PLAN OF MANAGEMENT At Council's ordinary meeting held on 21 November 2023, Council resolved to send the draft Crown Lands at Broke Plan of Management to the NSW Department of Planning and Environment for Ministerial Consent under the Crown Land Management Act, 2016 to publicly exhibit the document. Council has now received concurrence from NSW Department of Planning and Environment. Accordingly, the draft Crown Lands at Broke Plan of Management is now on public exhibition and community feedback is invited until 5pm Thursday 26 March 2026. The draft Plan of Management will guide the management, development and use of McNamara Park, Stewart McTaggart Park and Herbert Park. It provides strategic direction for the provision, management, development and use of the facilities and services, complies with the applicable legislation, and is aligned with relevant Local, State and Federal strategic documents. The draft document is available for viewing in hard copy at Council's Administration Building, Visitor Information Centre and Singleton Public Library, or can be downloaded via Council's website at W singleton.nsw.gov.au/publicexhibition A community drop-in session will also be held at Broke Community Hall on Monday 2 March 2026 from 6 - 8.30pm for community members to find out more information and have their say.
