HVO CONTINUATION PROJECT Find out more and have your say V V V HUNTER VALLEY OPERATIONS Hunter Valley Operations (HVO) is seeking approval to continue mining until 2050. The proposal will support local jobs, businesses and the community. Benefits: Around 1,500 ongoing local jobs & 600 construction jobs. Continued support for local businesses and suppliers - HVO spends $500 million a year with 700 suppliers. A realigned Lemington Rd and new bridge to replace the flood prone Moses Crossing - Safer and time saving travel for road users. Continued support for community groups and charities. Continued royalties to governments for infrastructure - schools, hospitals and roads. The Department of Planning and Environment has placed our Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) on public exhibition from January 30.
