SINGLETON COUNCIL CORRESPONDENCE TO General Manager PO Box 314 Singleton NSW 2330 PUBLIC EXHIBITION DRAFT COUNCIL COMMITTEES POLICY + DRAFT GENDER EQUITABLE ACCESS AND USAGE POLICY At Council's Ordinary Meeting held on 21 May 2024, Council resolved to place the following documents on public exhibition for a period of 28 days and public notice be provided of the intention to adopt the draft documents subject to consideration of submissions received: Draft Council Committees Policy Draft Gender Equitable Access and Usage Policy The Draft Council Committees Policy outlines the broad governance requirements of Council Committees and provides guidance on the operation Advisory Committees and Legislated Committees who assist with the delivery of Council's strategic priorities. The Draft Gender Committees Policy aims to progressively build capacity and capability at Singleton Council in identification and elimination of systemic causes of gender inequality in community sport infrastructure design, policy, program development and delivery, communication and delivery of sport and related services in all community sport infrastructure. Both documents are available for viewing on Council's website at W singleton.nsw.gov.au and at Council's Customer Service Centre, Visitor Information Centre and Public Library until Sunday 23 June 2024.
